The Type One Training Project (TOTs) is a guide put together by the Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. This guide includes multiple ways to help parents manage type 1 diabetes in their young children with a focus on eating and physical activity.
We developed the branding with a logo, color scheme, body of illustrations and the 52-page training booklet. For the booklet, it was important to keep in mind that the parents using this are very busy with their young child and things can get messy with mealtimes and physical activity. As a result, we created a strong, lightweight and playfully designed book that is easy to fold and allows for lots of page flipping.
